I 3D Printed a Full-Size Cyber Katana

For this build I printed the Cyber Sword Toy, a free model by geroulas on MakerWorld — a modern, cyber-style katana designed to print in multiple parts so you can mix and match colors, then glue it all together. It's even sized to fit on an A1 Mini.

The Build

Filament: PLA Basic — Light Gray, Black, Orange
Print time: ~10.8 hours across 3 plates
Assembly: All parts glued together after printing

I went with the gray/black/orange combo for a clean, high-contrast cyber look — the orange accents on the grip and collar give it a nice pop against the matte gray blade.

Final Result

The full-size sword came together cleanly across all three plates, with the tsuba, grip wrap, and blade fitting together with minimal cleanup needed before gluing.
